Zach was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC. He became acquainted with Sam Casey’s work when his father (a Christian attorney) attended various Christian Legal Society conferences promoting the sanctity of human life. His interest in this area of human rights quickly grew and as a result, he sought an internship with Sam Casey at Advocates International following the completion of his political science degree at Wheaton College in 2009.
While he was an intern at Advocates International, Zach played an integral part in redeveloping the organization’s website from the ground up. This experience helped him realize and develop his problem solving skills. Now, as the Development and Communications Manager for the Law of Life Project, he is responsible for the LOLP’s IT system management, website development, discovery research and cataloguing, crunch time paralegal work and writing grant requests, newsletters and press releases.
Zach ensures the technology on which the LOLP relies runs smoothly for everyone involved and that all necessary information flows smoothly between the LOLP team and its partners.
